Hi,
I have the same problem someone else has posted. Got the Spykee Spy Robot for my son's 11th birthday. He's so excited. He put it together last Thursday. Every time we try to access the website we get WARNING, this may damage your computer. We certainly don't want viruses. I emailed customer support. They said they are working on it, and gave me links to this very same website which gives me warnings every time. So, we have a robot that looks great, but will it really work? Does the website go down often? Is there another way that we can safely get the operating instructions, and software? Please advise!
Thanks!
Hi there,
I accessed their page with no problems (just ignored the warning), but I got a mac, so usually there are no problems anyways :-)
One more thing, when clicking one the click on the warning page "why?", google says:
Has this site hosted malware?
No, this site has not hosted malicious software over the past 90 days.
Getting the same problem, I tried it in chrome and it blocked the website from coming up, then I tried viewing in opera, and i got several alerts that a trojan was detected and prevented from running.
Crazy thought: could another source input a trojan that allows others to control the robot without you knowing? I know it sounds pretty silly, but I'm a bit worried about trying to find out myself. I just built my robot today and right now it's a paperweight because of this website issue.
