Charging problems...
Unfortunately I don't seem to have much luck. Finally got Mac OS software but when I charge Spykee...no luck not charging. However when I first received it I was able to switch it on and lights and all OK. However as I have not got the software so it has been staying on 1 side until yesterday...

So excited I was finally getting the software but when I plugged it to charge no result. Let it charge overnight and still no luck? Have I got a dud? Any advice? Followed all the instructions....

Bought it from Gizoo and before I send it back wondering if anybody had similar experiece. Gizoo has no more stock anyway so it looks like a long wait even if I send it back...

Help...

Re: Charging problems...
Apologies if you already know this but the Spykee will only charge if it's switched on. If you put it on the charger with the Spykee power switch is set to off nothing happens....

Re: Charging problems...

I have had Charging Problems, after a week the Skypee stopped working. I checked the power pack and it wasnt producing any voltage (the label says it should produce 13.5 Volts).

I contacted the people I bought it from and Mecanno have promised a replacement (but Im still waiting after 2 weeks)

Spykee works OK from a bench power supply whilst I wait thought.

If you are having problems find an electrician who can check the power pack output voltage

Re: Charging problems...

I'm also having charging problems. My first day I was wondering why it didn't seem to hold a charge. I left it on all night and today it was totally flat. I've jiggled with the thing manually on the charge plate and the charge seems to be going up on the indicator gui. I've yet to know whether it really is charging I'll find out tomorrow. I suspect that the contact with the charge plate when it goes back by itself is poor and flaky :-( Disappointing as this is of course crucial that this work flawlessly.

What doesn't make sense is that the gui indicated yesterday that it was charging. Maybe the gui only really indicates that it is located on it's home base.Or maybe it detects a slight voltage increase but the contact is not good enough to properly charge it. Hmmm.

Re: Charging problems...

My charging is working ok now. I needed to be sure that the charging station was against a firm background, otherwise it slides back from the contacts a bit.
