I am having the same problem, Spykee will not send emails because my email server requires password authentication.  Also I am very disappointed that the video surveillance mode does not work when Spykee is in the charging base, it seems rather pointless that it will only work until the battery runs out.  I was hoping to leave it running while I was on vacation.
