Well, Amazon just sent me my Spykee - current price £139, free postage.

A little fiddly to put together, but so far all seems to be working well.  Haven't yet tried him via remote PC and internet.

The only real annoyance so far is having to install Windows on one of my computers to control him.  Since the software is open source, I was hoping that somebody might have whipped up a Linux version by now, but it seems the source isn't quite as 'open' as Meccano claimed - at least, nobody seems to have been able to get it out of them yet.

Anyway, good fun so far!
