Hello, me again ...
I've been trying to connect to my Spykee remotely without success. - I can connect to my robot localy - I can connect to my robot in remote mote using my router
But when I'm trying the remote connection (through internet), I have: Authentication failure.
I have registered and I received an email with my robot name and password. From the software settings, in the My Spykee tab, clicking in Verify is succesful My Spykee has an IP address within my home network The allow remote connection box is ticked
Any idea what could be wrong? Does anyone knows which port(s) is (are) used? What is the Use forwarding on the following port for?
Thanks
Ok, I've made some progress.
In fact, when you are trying to connect remotely, you need to authenticate with your user admin/pass (has been to be different from admin). And in your My Spykee tab, you need your robot credentials.
So, now, I have a 'Connection to server failed'
Any idea?
Cheers
Yes, the first thing to check is that you have changed your password to something other than admin. Also, try using a simple short password with no numbers.
If you would like me to try to connect to your Spykee from this end, please pop along to http://drivemyspykee.freeforums.org/index.php
Can anyone help me please? I can connect via WiFi to the Spykee network but when I start the console, the robot list is empty and I can't select or enter anything. I know its picking up the network as when I turn the robot off, I get a network error through the console.
