Cannot see Spykee in Ad Hoc mode after connecting

I disabled my firewall.  I disabled my AntiVirus.  I cannot see my Spykee in the interface after I connect in ad hoc mode.  The connection seems to work OK.  Spykee just doesn't show up in the interface.  He beeps twice when turned on.  Then I 'connect to' Spykee.

Any ideas?  Thanks for any help you can give me.

I borrowed my friend's laptop and had it working in under 2 minutes including the software download. I spent 5 hours trying to connect ad hoc from my desktop.

Re: Cannot see Spykee in Ad Hoc mode after connecting

If you are connected to a network via ethernet cable, the Spykee control software will probably look on that network for robots, vice looking on the wireless network.  I don't know if there is a way to tell the software which network to use, but try disconnecting from the ethernet (just unplugging the cable will probably work) and then, with spykee connected in adhoc mode restart the software and see if your robot shows up.
