I don't have my Spyke (yet!), but I'm wondering if it will be possible to control it from Windows Mobile? That should make it a bit better for 'playing' with, rather than getting the laptop out every time!
I figure that since it can be controlled from a web browser then a decent web browser like Opera should do it, but it would be nicer to have a proper app written to do this.
I figure if it doesn't come with it, this could very well be my first project!
If not, im sure someone could easily make it possible. just like the person who made BBC iplayer for the PS3 and they said it only took them a couple of days
